Edit rhythm
The edit as a timeline: each bar is one shot, its height how long it holds. The white line follows the video; select a shot to jump to it. The lighter band is the part shown here.
I shape stories through rhythm, emotion and visual language — documentaries, public-communication films and TVCs that turn a script and a voice into something people feel.

Long-form documentaries, development films and 60-second TVCs. Each film opens a case study with its opening minute and the rhythm of its edit, measured shot by shot from the final export.
Contact sheet
Eight frames from across each film, from the opening shot to the end slate, with the pace it was cut at. Select a film to watch it.
Frames taken at even intervals from the final exports; blank transition frames skipped. Pace measured shot by shot.
Approach
Every film here began as a script, a voice-over and raw footage. These are the decisions that turned them into films.
I break the script line by line, decide what the audience must see at each beat, and build chapters, so a 17-minute documentary moves like a journey rather than a list.
Pace is a choice. The Ganga Expressway TVC cuts every 1.9 seconds to feel like speed; the 2012 documentary holds for 3.5 seconds so its darker chapters can land. Cuts sit in the pauses of the voice.
Aerials for scale, faces for meaning, archive for memory. Music carries the arc under the voice; sound design, such as a cockpit announcement or a transition hit, makes a frame feel real.
A public film has one job: make a fact memorable. Numbers become on-screen statements, timed to the line that says them, in one typographic voice from the opening frame to the end slate.
From script, voice-over and raw footage to an edit plan; then the shots that actually say what is being said; then the finish: colour, mix, supers and delivery.
AI in my workflow
Turns the script and voice-over into an edit plan, and finds the strongest lines in long interview transcripts.
Research for the brief, Hindi and English script drafts, and captions.
Generates images for frames, backgrounds and visual ideas the footage does not have.
Generates video shots and B-roll where the shoot could not reach.
Natural voice-overs in Hindi and English, to cut against before the final voice is in.
